The award supports faculty research on a health-related topic, in honor of Dr. Elena Sliepcevich, former SIU professor and pioneer in school health education. Preference is given to research that includes youth education/youth outreach in a health-related field. Funds support one month of summer salary, matched by the College of Health and Human Sciences Dean’s office. The final products of the research are available below.
